Multi-Objective Optimization of a Two-Stage Helical Gearbox Using Taguchi Method and Grey Relational Analysis

چکیده

This paper presents a novel approach to solve the multi-objective optimization problem designing two-stage helical gearbox by applying Taguchi method and grey relation analysis (GRA). The objective of study is identify optimal main design factors that maximize efficiency minimize mass. To achieve that, five factors. including coefficients wheel face width (CWFW) first second stages, allowable contact stresses (ACS) gear ratio stage were chosen. Additionally, two single objectives, maximum minimum mass, analyzed. In addition, solved through phases: Phase 1 solves single-objective in order close gap between variable levels, phase 2 determine From results study, optimum values parameters for introduced.
